Brittney and Eric are big Ravens fans. They didn't want the traditional cake topper with the bride and groom in their wedding attire. Instead, they wanted to have mini wooden versions of themselves in their typical Ravens' gear. Eric is sporting his jersey and camo shorts, while Brittney is getting comfy in her jersey and pj pants. Pictured here is the cake topper. The couple decided to go with cupcakes instead of a big tiered cake (a great choice!) and just had a cake topper made that they will cut on their 1 year anniversary.
As I said, Christen has been busy with weddings AND babies. Recently starting a new job, Christen has a whole new crop of friends and clients. One new friend is about to make a new friend of her own- a baby boy! And how do we know she's having a boy?
Gender Reveal cakes are all the rage these days. Step 1. When it's time to learn the sex of the baby, have the doctor/ultrasound tech/whomever write it on a piece of paper instead of telling you. Step 2. Give the paper to a friend. Step 3. Have the friend commission a baker or bakery to make a cake with the sex hidden inside the cake. Hidden??? Yes, hidden! The icing on the cake is either white or neutral or a mix of colors. The cake itself is either pink or blue, thus indicating the sex of the baby!
Shouldn't everything be revealed in a dessert? I don't know what else would be appropriate or even possible, but if there is a will, there is a way!
